Between #metoo, the political environment, personal challenges and general daily life, we’ve all done our fair share of stressing lately. So how about a lift and a laugh from Sarah Cooper, a rising star in the world of Stand Up Comedy (feminist style) and author of the satirical blog TheCooperReview.com and  the book 100 Tricks to Appear Smart in Meetings. Previously the design lead for Google Docs, Sarah now focuses on writing and speaking on corporate and tech humor. She’ll undoubtedly lift your spirits!

Sarah Cooper is a writer, comedian, and author of the bestselling book How to Be Successful Without Hurting Men’s Feelings. Sarah has been featured on MSNBC, Buzzfeed, PopSugar and Yahoo! and her work has been seen in The Washington Post, McSweeney’s and The Times UK. She hosts the weekly podcast Unprofessional, where she and a comedian talk about day jobs and she co-hosts monthly standup comedy show You’re So Brave on the Lower East Side. She also co-produces tech comedy show, Comedy vs. Nerds.


Sarah built her comedy career in between working for companies like Yahoo! and Google, where she was fed free lunches and lots of material. In 2016, Sarah’s first book, 100 Tricks to Appear Smart in Meetings, landed at #1 in the Books > Humor > Business humor > Paperback books > Books with pages > Handheld books category. In 2017, Sarah performed at SF Sketchfest and was on the writing team for SOMA The Musical, a comedy musical about Silicon Valley seen by over 6,000 techies in the Bay Area.
