October Parlay House NY: Sex Trafficking and Sexual Exploitation

October 17 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Sex trafficking is often hidden in plain sight. The Jeffrey Epstein debacle and recent efforts to decriminalize prostitution in New York have forced the issues of trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation into the headlines.

Join us for a powerful conversation with Taina Bien-Aime, Executive Director of Coalition Against the Trafficking of Women; Ane Mathieson, the Lead Program Specialist for the Justice and Empowerment for Teens initiative (JET) at Sanctuary for Families; and Melanie Thompson, a speaker, activist, and leader in the global fight to end sex trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation who was herself trafficked and sold into prostitution at the age of 12 in New York.
