Parlay House: Artisanal Mixology

San Francisco is one of the greatest alcohol production regions in North America, with more distilleries, wineries and bars than you can shake a muddler at. So let’s toast ourselves and our fabulous fortune shall we?
In this class held in partnership with WorkshopSF, we will learn to make 3 amazing drinks, all with locally distilled spirits–and not just from the big boys. We’ll track down some of our favorite local small batch distilleries and make some tasty libations using the products of their craftsmanship. We’ll also go into detail about tasting notes, balance and how to get the most from each bottle. A little background history about the alcohol trade in SF is also thrown in for good measure to impress those out of town friends.
You’ll learn the essential techniques to crafting great cocktails – how to mix, muddle, shake, and stir properly. You will also learn how to balance every flavor that goes into making the perfect drink.
The price of class includes everything, including some rare and expensive liquors. You will walk out with a recipe booklet, a list of the best local bars for great cocktails, and the know how to dazzle your guests the next time you entertain.
