The San Francisco Fall Antiques Show
Private Reception and Jewelry Talk with Larry French from Buccellati
The SAN FRANCISCO FALL ANTIQUES SHOW is the oldest and most prestigious continuously operating international art and antiques show on the West Coast, and recognized as one of the top five in the world. It features sixty dealers from across the United States and Europe, offering for sale an extraordinary range of fine and decorative arts representing all styles and periods including American, English, Continental, and Asian furniture, silver, ceramics, glass, jewelry, rugs, textiles, paintings, prints, and photographs.
Ariane Trimuschat, a Parlay House Member and central figure in this event, has crafted a special evening just for us. She has enlisted Larry French of Buccellati to come and speak at a private reception about the art of evaluating and identifying exceptional antique jewelry. We expect that with Ariene’s hospitality, Larry’s expertise and our amazing energy, it will be an awesome evening for all.
We have limited space, so please sign up soon and consider bringing another amazing woman into our circle. We are also extending this invitation to potential new members who have expressed interest in joining Parlay House but do not currently know anyone in the group. We will give them name tags at the event and we hope you will make a special effort to talk with them so that we can see whether there is a good fit for them and for us.
Larry French has had a lifelong passion for rare and exotic stones. When he was 20 he won a scholarship to the Gemological Institute of America. As a Gemologist he naturally entered into the world of high jewelry spending many years with the French jeweler Van Cleef & Arpels and the last twenty years with the Italian jeweler, Buccellati. He has traveled, in the service of the two firms, throughout the world including Bombay, Riyadh, Bangkok, Moscow, Istanbul and most of Europe.
Interests besides jewelry include both writing and photography. His photographs have been featured in many group and one man shows and are in various private collections.
