When you walk into a room full of strangers, who are you?

Most people talk about themselves related to work or family. But what if you could talk about yourself in a way that would intrigue, surprise and delight the listener? That’s our goal at our ever-popular annual Parlay House Book Event.

Here’s how it works: You join us for food and wine, bringing a book (fiction or non-fiction but not something you are promoting) that tells a tantalizing tidbit your own life story in some way. We’ll wear our book titles on badges during the evening to stimulate discussion, and at the end of the evening we’ll take home the book brought by a member whose story is meaningful to us in some way.

The exchange will help us share secrets, create unexpected connections, and add to our reading list to boot.

We can’t wait to Parlay with you!

As usual, drinks and bites will be served and a good time had by all.
