ABOUT OUR SPEAKER

Linda K. Franks, MD is Director of Gramercy Park Dermatology in New York City and Clinical Assistant Professor at The Ronald O. Perelman Department of Dermatology, NYU School of Medicine. She received her undergraduate and medical degrees from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, followed by postgraduate training at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School. After completing her dermatology residency including chief resident at NYU, she served as Major in the USAF Medical Corps in active duty during Desert Storm. Her private practice focuses on medical and aesthetic dermatology, with a particular interest in the prevention of skin aging and disease utilizing nutritional, injectable and laser applications. She regularly teaches aesthetic and surgical dermatology to NYU residents both in her office as well as the hospital’s cosmetic clinic. Volunteering annually in the Dominican Republic, she provides surgical and medical care to over 130 underserved rural communities. Dr. Franks lives in Westchester with her husband where they raised their four daughters; together they share six daughters total- a lot of girl power!
