DESIGN THINKING TO SAVE LIVES

Many students are given assignments in school that encourage them to innovate. Very few come up with ideas that become life-saving solutions worldwide.

In our desire to feature women at the epicenter of positive cascades of good, this week we welcome Jane Chen, whose life-saving Embrace Warmer (an innovative infant incubator) has saved over 300,000 vulnerable infants worldwide.

Her use of “design thinking” and mindful leadership has already inspired people like Beyonce, Mark Benioff, and Barak Obama. We have no doubt that her story will inspire you, too. Jane will share both process of creating the incubator and the lives it has impacted, as well as key leadership lessons on resilience that she has learned over the last decade.
