How Often Have You Felt Dismissed?

Many of us notice that our issues are minimized or ignored. Especially when it comes to our health. In fact, four out of five women who experience chronic pain feel that their doctors don’t take their issues seriously. Women of Color report an even higher level of dismissal.

Join us for another fabulous evening of important conversation, this time with Melissa Muganzo Murphy, known as MMM by the people who know her best. Melissa took her own experience of being discounted by her healthcare providers and decided that she would create real change for other women so that they don’t have to suffer in the way she did. She’s an activist, a filmmaker and a champion of the underserved who will leave you feeling that real change is possible.

Who couldn’t use more of that?

We’ll sit down with MMM plus several cast members of her latest documentary, The Big Hysto: A Black Womb Revolution.

As always, bites and beverages will be provided – plus a very special surprise treat will be served up by MMM’s wife (HINT: it rhymes with “mocktails”)

See you there and if you can, bring a friend!
